Jim Patterson is underwater, nature, and landscape photographer residing in Santa
Cruz, California on the edge of the beautiful Monterey Bay. His passion
for photography grew out of a love for SCUBA diving the amazing kelp
forests of California. He wanted to share these experiences as well as
create compelling images. After several years dedicated to the
underwater world, He found new inspiration photographing the coastal
seascapes near at home. This love of landscapes has expanded in to areas
inland as he begin to explore the state and national parks of
California.
